A DIFFERENT LENS
The Guest House is a private advisory practice devoted to understanding that architecture. We look beyond the presenting circumstance to examine the deeper logic beneath it, then use what we uncover to make more deliberate decisions about what should remain, what has outlived its purpose, and what needs to evolve.
Because the strategies that helped create a life are not always the same ones required to lead its next chapter.
THE WORK
What appears in one area of life is rarely contained there.
A decision, recurring pattern, leadership challenge, financial issue, relationship, or period of transition may look discrete from the outside. Often, it is being shaped by a much larger internal system.

We look at the beliefs, adaptations, expectations, and meaning structures influencing what is happening now, then translate that understanding into a tactical strategy for change.
The work is both investigative and practical: understand the architecture, identify what is still serving, determine what needs to evolve, and build the decisions, behaviors, structures, and experiences that support what comes next.

The work is highly individualized, designed to surface what may be operating outside immediate awareness and translate that understanding into deliberate action.

For executives and leaders whose internal architecture inevitably enters the room with them. We examine not only the visible leadership challenge, but the patterns influencing how someone makes decisions, responds under pressure, relates to power, manages conflict, tolerates uncertainty, and leads others. From there, we build a practical strategy around the behaviors, decisions, and structures that need to change.
03.Founder + Business Advisory
For founders, the line between the business and the person building it is rarely clean. Strategy may involve growth, positioning, team, structure, or decision-making, while also examining the beliefs, relational dynamics, and adaptive patterns shaping those choices. The goal is not simply greater insight, but a more deliberate way of building, leading, and deciding from here.

The Guest House
The name begins with an invitation: to meet what enters our lives with curiosity. The poem asks us to “welcome and entertain them all,” because even the unexpected arrival may carry something worth seeing.
A life is shaped by what it encounters. Joy and loss. Ambition and disappointment. Love, disruption, uncertainty, success. The experiences we choose and the ones we never would have chosen. Each leaves something behind, quietly contributing to the singular way we come to see, move through, and understand the world.
There is no separating who we are from what has shaped us.
The Guest House was created in reverence for that becoming.

COLUMBIA TATONE
Before Columbia Tatone learned to direct a film, she learned to read a room.
She learned early to notice the emotional weather around her: the shift in a voice, the tension underneath a conversation, the needs that went unspoken. Attention became instinct. Over time, that instinct became a particular way of seeing people, not simply for what they did, but for the forces underneath what they did.
Tatone’s path to directing was anything but linear. She studied jazz at Berklee College of Music, later earned a degree in business, and came to filmmaking through writing. Journal entries became poetry. Poetry became music. Music became screenwriting. Eventually, story became the place where everything she had been studying about people could live at once.
